Ek Chotti Se Love Story

Clock Strucked 12. Alarm started to Ring loudly.I reached  my Flat and Rang the DoorBell, it was Pouring Like Hell Outside.
I was nervous, shivering and a wide array of thoughts running into my mind.
Drops of Sweat rolling off my Forehead. Fear was evident in my eyes...
'What if Baba Finds out? Maa will never forgive me.'
'Do Rajvinder,Jyoti and Alex already knew about this?'
'Shreya and her Parents ... What will they think.'
'What will Happen to Garima now?'
'My Career is Screwed'

I am never going to forget that night

1 Day Back
26th March 2012  CAFE COFFE DAY PUNE
'Where are the girls?' Rajvinder screamed on his S2.
I never really liked Rajvinder,His Carefree attitude towards life, his arrogance.
He came from a Rich Haryanavi family and always thought Money can get him anything
Respect Among friends,Girlfriend,Power....ANYTHING.
He was a stubborn Rick Kid and i am Glad i was not one of them  as Once these kids grow up and get pushed out of the womb into the real world, they’re screwed. Unless of course their parents are willing to tube feed them for the rest of their lives. Which in some cases does actually happen.

Lost in my own Thoughts...i felt a someone pulling my cheeks .... Aaaaaaah
'Kya Soch rahe ho Badnaam Shyaar' Garima Perked up.
'Hi Garima !' I Replied instantly. Sweet Smell of Rosy aroma filled the air.
Her Body Spray Frangrance has the Best Aroma. I Guess she uses roses, lily or whatever
I Always wonder how can a Girl Smell so good All the time.
Here its me Always Smelling Like a Rotten Dead Rat.I always wanted to Smell Just Right for Garima and always failed Misreably. My Fluids start flowing as soon as i come under the sun.

'I am all excited for tomorrow,Matheran is going to be fun... btw new Tshirt. Pocket Money aa gyi kya ghar se?' She Said
'Nopes i won't be able to come tomorrow...I ahve a Interview ...Shreya gifted me and i don't like it'
(She started smiling. Girls like guys disparaging other Girl. Guess this makes them feel better)
'Aachi hai na, i like it...Leave it what about your Interview call'
'Its scheduled for tomorrow'
'Wowie Kal Kaha Treat de rahe ho Phir Hume' She Blinked
'Let me Clear First' I retorted ( This was the fifth Interview call of this week. and i was not able to clear any of them.)
'Don't Worry Siddhartha, You are going to clear the interview this time.' She Smiled.
I smiled back. She is just what i need.I wanted to get up and kiss her perfectly Shaped lips .

'Wassup Bitch' Rajvinder's Husky Voice interrupted my Honeymoon thoughts.
Garima and Rajvinder are a Couple. But whenever Garima comes i always forget my not so great Stage 1 Friendship ( read aquintances) with rajvinder. Such is her Aura. So pretty Like Camilla Belle, So Vivacious Like Karishma Kapoor, So voluptuous just like Megan Fox , So Graceful Just Like Lady Diana. In Short...I am Completely Smitten With Garima. Unfortunately for me She also Likes Rajvinder.

I gave Rajvinder a nonchalant look then and directed my gaze on the Random Guys Checking out Garima.
Not their fault i said in my mind...even i do the same.
I decided to concentrate on my Cold Coffee.

Rajvinder and Garima Got Busy in their Matheran Trip Plan.
This was my main problem my The older I grow the more I like listening to people talking. Fact is i am unable to speak and express myself.

'Oy Sidharth...U not coming to matheran...y? Rajvinder tapped me on my shoulder
'Dude I have a Interview Call tomorrow'
'Abe Kyu ja rha hai ...Clear to Hoga nahi'
'Rajvinder Stop being so mean to him. He is trying and i am....' Garima Came in between
'You will not Understand Rajvinder. Sab paka Pakaya tere ko mil gya hai na' i raised my voice
This is why i hated haryanavi bastard. He had everything wat i needed including Garima and he loves to belittle me and embarrass me in front of her.

'Chal chor Dekh Liyo....Jyoti Alex and Shreya are also coming'
'Yeah i will try.' '
Suddenly my Mobile started Vibrating. It Was Shreya.
Shreya is from Mumbai and my Fiancee. We got engaged a week back. She is an MBA working with a Leading IT firm as a Business Analyst. She loves me a lot. I also believe I Like her. but unfortunately me and her agree on absolutely nothing.

I excused myself, Got out of CCD and picked up the phone.
'Hi Siddu'
'Hey Shreya'
'How was my Tshirt. u Liked it?'
'Yeah it was nice.' I replied coldly
'Thanks Siddu. BTW i will be coming for Matheran Tomorrow. Nisha is also coming'

Suddenly Everybody wants to attend the Guest Lectures.
Everyone has taken a vow to toil real hard in the small break. With an MBA gyaan of our standards, i'll have to slog real hard and leave no stone unturned to get a job. When Friends around start getting placed..tension starts mounting. This can be seen on the faces of many. :)

"Sir when i said IT is my area of interest this dosen't means i don't have other areas of interest"
Senior looking guy starts Smiling...

"Why are you so passionate about this job considering it is not related to your previous IT EXPERIENCE"
“No sir, Not at all.i Think my previous experience will help me here because at the end of the day its business and all the business have a very simple agenda sell your product and earn profit. so my knowledge should be helpful"

"No Sir...but i've heard its a  nice place"
"Its HOT"
"No Sir...Its HUMID"
Lady starts smiling...

Then routine questions were asked...
Atomsphere in the room is more friendly now...everybody is smiling
Interview goes on for the next 30 mins. Needless to say it was a disaster.
But Experience was good.

Things that i have learnt from this interview:
1) Don't try to act oversmart with the panel. They are smarter.
2) Never bring Raone In Between
3) Apply deo before u enter...in case u start sweating.
4) Never Fail to demonstrate enthusiasm if you are not then fake it.
5) Always stick to your guns.
6) Never Fail to remember what you wrote on your own resume.

Hoping Post Diwali some good news comes. Happy Diwali to everyone.

Sinfully Single !

Draped in my favourite Black Tee and faded jeans, Put on my favourite Deo,combed my hairs 45th time and checked myself again in front of the mirror for one last time. Rating myself 20 on 10, I eventually geared myself up to meet the fairy of my dreamland *******( Keep on Guessing )
Was waiting for her near Baristaa , with a “U R THE ONLY ONE FOR ME” card and few Ferraro Rocher chocolates. It’s been the 10 minutes of sheer excitement and desperation with lot of things going across my mind (typical guy I am, Supremely Nervous yet excited ).
Anyways, she finally arrived and did I mention how gorgeous she looked. She was wearing those ultra simple Salwar Kurta with her hairs flowing in tandem with each of her steps. She reminded me of those classic khajuraho sculpture whch they show in movies .
She came closer to me, said, you are so cute and brushed a kiss on my cheeks. Thereafter I took her to one of the coziest (and costliest) of the restaurants to have our candle light dinner.....
blah blah blah blah
Yes u got it, its has never been my story but this has been the story I have watching a lot around these days. Sometimes it’s so frustrating to see this that I feel like joining Bajrang Dal or Shivsena and then do all those patak patak kar pitaai to all those new bees
Well my story is like yours. I am single and probably romantically challenged. My story has been of a guy who is standing in the platform of a railway station where lot many trains arrive and go. Though I am quite choosy about the peculiar train I am looking for, I must say whenever I choose a train that train always gives me a waitlisted status which never gets confirmed in due course of time. Sometimes there have been circumstances when I just felt that this time it may get confirm, but then suddenly in the last moment some guy with VIP quota grabs my seat. Worst is the Taltkal ticket holders, who come to the station the very last moment, make extra investments that you can’t afford and then swipe your seat just below your feet. In  a way trains never come on the platform we stand on.
However, being single is not that bad. It has its own perks...Whenever I see a new train coming, more elegant and blissful, I feel glad that I didn’t take the last train. Adding to that, it feels good that still, all the trains are equally available to me. Needless to mention, these days passengers and trains are changing each other so frequently that you just don’t know that when you are going to hit the jackpot.
But since this is life and my train is like super late (probably derailed), I have decided that I will check out all the trains that are coming across. I will also fix my eyes on following facts :
1. Which passenger gets which train
2. Which train is carrying more than ne passenger at one time with both the passengers unaware of each other
3. Will do a SWOT Analysis
4. Which passengers have more than one confirmed seat and which seat they finally take?

PS: what a crap .... Happy Bachelor Life !

Mumbai's Monsoon Mondays

His eyes suddenly open...He is surprised by his own loneliness. It’s the same room that he has woken up in for the past four years, the dampness and the bubbles on the corner of wall and ceiling as familiar to him as his daily dabba meals. His eyes flutter to his left foot, looking for his old hawaai chappal. Then to the right, at the cosy bed.
He gives up and gets up, ignoring the protesting knots in his back.

And at once he realizes. He hasn’t been woken by the sunlight, most unwelcome to owners of east-facing bedroom windows. It’s the sound that has woken him up. Clattering on the tin parapet that the people below insisted on putting up last December. It’s raining.
He steps up to the window and waits for his eyes to adjust to the waking world. A few seconds pass before he realizes that it’s coming down so fast and heavy that the gray around is not his sleepiness but water, sheer water.

For the briefest second, he begins a smile, thinking the earliest conscious thought that occurs to a Mumbaiker during heavy rain. NO OFFICE ... NO SCHOOL! But the smile stops before it reaches his cheek corners and he realizes there’s an important meeting later in the day and an early morning chat with the boss to prepare. How’s he going to get to work in this downpour? He’d better carry an extra set of formal clothes, one part of his brain is already whizzing. And his hands reach for the side-drawer, groping in the musty darkness for the plastic shield for his mobile phone, lest he forget to carry it later. Survival first is the metropolitan mantra.

He should probably leave early to provide for any delays. There’ll be plenty – traffic jams, pedestrian shouting, late trains, buses negotiating puddles. As he leaves the room, his fingers brush the switch panel, turning on the light, turning off the fan and the mosquito repellent plug-in. Mid-automation, he swirls around. Even through the downpour, he can tell, the window opposite is shut. Funny. He could have sworn, it was open last night. Maybe she got up when it started raining and shut it. Maybe it was always shut. Maybe…
The doorbell rings and he rushes out of the room, all thoughts fleeing instantly.

The monsoon is here and so is Monday.
